Suruchi Khubchandani is Fellow, YES Institute and responsible for bridging the gap between knowledge and practice in the cultural sphere. She is part of the YES Culture team and focuses on trends and patterns within the creative industries through thought pieces and research papers. Towards this end, she ideates and executes partnerships and collaborations with stakeholders to channelize culture to achieve sustainable development. Her interests include existential philosophy, detailed patterns, arts, crafts, alternate indie makes, incessant travels, and spotting anything unsullied in the town!

Suruchi has previously practiced in the contemporary arts sphere as an art writer, researcher and educator. She has written for several art publications such as TAKE on art, Contemporary Arts Journal and artist/exhibition catalogues and taught Art Appreciation, Cultural Studies and Aesthetics at Pearl Academy, Noida and Collect of Arts, New Delhi. She is the recipient of Foundation of Indian Contemporary Art (FICA) Research Fellowship 2009 and has worked as Editorial and Production Head in TAKE on art magazine from 2009 to 2013. Suruchi holds M.V.A. in Art History & Aesthetics from M.S.U, Baroda, 2009 (Gold Medalist) and BA in Journalism (Hons.) from Delhi University, 2007.
