FASAR focuses on advisory, policy & research initiatives across sub sectors including, food processing, horticulture, fisheries, plantations, dairy, commercial farming, agricultural markets, agri supply chain, cold chain, agri inputs & agri logistics. FASAR has worked extensively on numerous strategic advisory projects for clients across the multinational, corporate, government & multilaterals space, besides being active in a number of key research, policy and knowledge forums of national & international importance. Some of the recent engagements include those with ADB, IFC, UNIDO, IFAD, USAID, Embassies of the Netherlands & Australia in India, British Retail Consortium, Fonterra, Advanta and Ministries of Agriculture, Commerce & Food Processing Industries in India.
Nitin has a basic qualification in Mechanical Engineering from NIT Kurukshetra followed by an MBA in Agribusiness Management from Institute of Rural Management, Anand and an Advanced Management Program in Agribusiness from Cornell University, Ithaca. Prior to YES BANK, he has worked in senior management positions with respected organizations in India including ITC, Aditya Birla Nuvo, MCX & Reliance Retail.
